Energy efficient products are currently ruled by two framework acts, a Directive and a Regulation. Delegated Acts describe then the details of the new labels for each product family.

Household refrigerators, freezers and wine storage refrigerators
According to the European Commission estimation, more efficient refrigerating appliances will allow Europe to save up to 9.6 TWh of electricity per year by 2030.
