Let’s shade light on the news!
The new rules apply in a particular way to light sources. Longer transition periods and a system of relabelling of old products through adhesives stickers are foreseen for light sources. The delegated acts report all the related details, together with the calculation and test methods to be performed. The timeline of the change is indicated in the framework legislation.
New Eco-Designs rules.
In parallel with the rescaled energy label, also a new Eco-Design regulation is entering into force. The regulation introduces new requirements about energy efficiency, functionality, resource efficiency and information availability.
