Eco programme coming soon!
Just like for the washing appliances, the energy class of dishwasher is determined by an energy efficiency index determined by the testing programme classified as “eco”. The delegated acts detail the calculation to be performed and test methods to be implemented. The timeline of the change is indicated in the framework legislation.
New Eco-Designs rules.
In parallel with the rescaled energy label, also a new Eco-Design regulation is entering into force. The regulation introduces new requirements about energy efficiency, functionality, resource efficiency (e.g. availability of spare parts, after sales services to be provided to the costumers...) and information availability.
